The Glee Live! In Concert! tour in North America began on Friday, May 21 at the Mandalay Bay Event Center in Las Vegas and will wrap up the North American leg on June 18th in Uniondale, NY at the Nassau Coliseum. The Gleeks have completed their performances in California and have landed in Minneapolis for their performance at the Target Center tonight. In a recent NY Magazine article, GLEE star and Golden Globe winner Chris Colfer reminisces about his first trip to New York City, after he filmed the GLEE pilot episode. Colfer visited Lea Michele and Jenna Ushkowitz and slept on Michele's couch, going to see seven Broadway shows in just six days. Colfer also took his first cab ride during the trip, by pretending to stay at a hotel so that the doorman could help him get a cab!

On Monday, May 16, the FOX 2011 Upfront event was held at the Wollman Rink in Central Park in New York City. The event revealed which shows are returning, which are being cut from the network line-up and introduced the new upcoming series.
