TV Guide Network is bringing back its popular original comedy series, STANDUP IN STILETTO,hosted by actress Kate Flannery ('The Office'). The second season, which will premiere on Saturday, November 10 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT, will feature three stand-up comediennes per episode.

Due to recent health issues, Freddie Roman was unable to perform in the Friars Club Comedy Festival which he curated for the Mahaiwe and had planned to host. The show went on in Freddie's honor, with his long-time friend Stewie Stone, the Prior of the Friars, stepping in as host and with Freddies favorite, on-the-rise stand-up comics carrying on the Catskills comedy tradition. The Ed Sullivan, Steve Allen, & Hollywood Palace shows have disappeared from the TV schedule years ago. Television audiences were always tremendously entertained watching an engaging host, presenting a separate and diverse group of performers in these musical, fun filled hours. Jamie deRoy performer/host has been delighting cabaret audiences for the past 21 years with these type of variety shows. Her special birthday celebration show at the Metropolitan Room included a mixture of talented troupers who rose to the task of entertaining Jamie's Broadway Producer and industry friends in the celebratory audience.

This winter the Museum of Jewish Heritage - A Living Memorial to the Holocaust will be offering festive mah jongg related programming in conjunction with the wildly popular exhibit, Project Mah Jongg, now extended through February 27.
