TV Guide Network is bringing back its popular original comedy series, STANDUP IN STILETTO,hosted by actress Kate Flannery ('The Office'). The second season, which will premiere on Saturday, November 10 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT, will feature three stand-up comediennes per episode.
Due to recent health issues, Freddie Roman was unable to perform in the Friars Club Comedy Festival which he curated for the Mahaiwe and had planned to host. The show went on in Freddie's honor, with his long-time friend Stewie Stone, the Prior of the Friars, stepping in as host and with Freddies favorite, on-the-rise stand-up comics carrying on the Catskills comedy tradition. Television audiences were always tremendously entertained watching an engaging host, presenting a separate and diverse group of performers in these musical, fun filled hours.
