TREASURE ISLAND ~ A NEW MUSICAL will set to sail at Arkansas Rep on March 8. Featuring a book by Brett Smock and Carla Vitale and music and lyrics by Corinne Aquilina, the show will be directed and choreographed by Brett Smock.

International Pop Star Olly Murs will release his highly anticipated US debut album RIGHT PLACE RIGHT TIME on Columbia Records on April 16, 2013. Virginia Opera, The Official Opera Company of the Commonwealth of Virginia, announces its 2013-14 Season that features four, brand-new mainstage productions and two Special Engagement productions that span comedy, drama, farce and grand opera. The Company's 39th Subscription Season will open with Falstaff in September, followed by The Magic Flutein November, Ariadne auf Naxos in February, and Carmen in March. Special Engagements next season will include performances of The Girl of the Golden West in January and Sweeney Todd in May.

New York City Opera opens its spring 2013 season with a new production of Powder Her Face (1995), composed by Thomas Adès (b.1971) to a libretto by Philip Hensher (b. 1965).

The age-old tale of Boy-Meets-Girl and the complications which ensue intrigue every audience, and no musical puts it on stage better than ANYTHING GOES. This show is an amusing story wrapped around one of Cole Porter's magical scores. The event will be tonight, December 13th starting at 6:00PM at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Theatre, featuring performances by jazz legends Wynton Marsalis, Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Esperanza Spalding and Corinne Bailey Rae. This unprecedented gala event will be hosted ABC news anchor George Stephanopoulos and filmmaker David Lynch.
