Hudson Village Theatre to Welcome 'BLUE SUEDE SHOES,' 6/18-29

Hudson Village Theatre brings Blue Suede Shoes: The King, The Colonel, The Memories to Hudson from June 18 to 29, 2014. The C2 Entertainment touring show is an explosive tribute to Elvis Presley, the undisputed 'King of Rock n' Roll' staring Roy Leblanc as Elvis and Chris McHarge as Colonel Tom Parker.

Unbound Productions to Stage World Premiere Readings of MYSTERY LIT and THE DOLL, Summer 2014

Unbound Productions, Executive Director Jonathan Josephson, Artistic Director Paul Millet, and Producing Artistic Director Jeff G. Rack have announced details about their World Premiere staged reading of MYSTERY LIT, adapted by Josephson from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes stories (May 22, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. and May 24, 2014 at 2:00 p.m.) and the World Premiere production of Algernon Blackwood's THE DOLL, adapted by Rack and directed by Millet (July 11-26, 2014; Fridays-Sundays, 7:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m., and 9:00 p.m.).

Center audiences will have a chance to see MacLaine live when she makes her Center debut on September 20 in her one-woman show.

CABARET to Air on Reel 13 this Month

With Alan Cumming and Michelle Williams currently starring in the Roundabout Theatre Company's revival of 'Cabaret' on the Great White Way, Reel 13 broadcasts Bob Fosse's Oscar-winning movie version. The legendary Broadway director and choreographer brought him and star Liza Minnelli Academy Awards. In fact, the 1972 film still holds the record for most Oscar wins in a single year without winning the 'Best Picture' category, copping eight in all. (The Godfather received that prize.)

A.R.T. Adds FATHER COMES HOME FROM THE WARS to 2014-15 Season; Performances Begin Jan. 2015

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University, under the leadership of Artistic Director Diane Paulus and Managing Director William Russo, has announced the remaining production planned for its 2014/15 Season: Father Comes Home From the Wars (Parts 1, 2 & 3), written by Suzan-Lori Parks and directed by Jo Bonney, in a co-production with The Public Theater in New York. Performances will begin January 2015 at the Loeb Drama Center.
