CALL ME WALDO -- a new play by Rob Ackerman (TABLETOP) -- will debut Off-Broadway in a production by The Working Theater with preview performances starting February 14 prior to its official opening night on February 22 at the June Havoc Theatre (312 W. 36 St. in Manhattan), it has been announced by Mark Plesent, Working Theater's Producing Artistic Director.

NOW.HERE.THIS. -- which last year received a Developmental Lab Production at The Vineyard - will be given a fully staged, world-premiere production with previews beginning March 7 prior to an official press opening of March 28 at the Vineyard Theatre (108 East 15th Street), it has been announced by Artistic Director Douglas Aibel, and Co-Artistic Director Sarah Stern.

Signature Theatre Company presents BLOOD KNOT, which is the first play in the Residency One: Athol Fugard Series, runs January 31 - March 11, 2012 with a February 16th opening night. BLOOD KNOT is the first of three Fugard shows Signature will present this season, and is the inaugural production in The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at the Company's new Frank Gehry-designed home Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between Dyer and 10th Avenues). Theatreworks USA has just announced that Tony Award winners Barbara Cook, Nathan Lane, Donna Murphy and Sara Ramirez will headline its 50th Anniversary Celebration gala on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts (566 LaGuardia Place at Washington Square North).

Not to be outdone by their female counterparts, the men of Broadway can boast a banner year.
