According to The Hollywood Reporter, Moonlight Oscar winner Mahershala Ali is in talks to lead the third season of the HBO anthology series 'True Detective.' The show has yet to confirm a third season, but the interest is there.

McDonagh's darkly comic work opens at Palm Beach Dramaworks on May19 and continues through June 4, with specially priced previews on May 17 and 18.  

Turner's TNT has tapped Niels Arden Oplev to direct and executive-produce the pilot for THE DEEP MAD DARK, an atmospheric mystery-thriller about the complexities of friendship.

Michael Keaton is currently in talks to star in Disney's upcoming live-action adaptation of DUMBO. Keaton's 'Beetlejuice' director Tim Burton will helm the project from a script by Ehren Kruger.

As previously reported, Tim Burton will direct a live-action adaptation of the 1941 animated classic DUMBO for Walt Disney Studios. Colin Farrell, most recently seen in FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM, is currently in talks to join the film.
