By deconstructing and re-examining iconic works by choreographers Vaslav Nijinsky, Martha Graham, Alvin Ailey, Merce Cunningham, Bob Fosse, and George Balanchine, Yerushalmy dismantles the modern tradition with both reverence and intensity. The Ford Theatres presents the world premiere of moon& by szalt (dance co) on Sunday, August 26 at 8:30pm as part of its IGNITE @ the FORD! series. Mirrored by the eight phases of the moon, moon& is a new evening-length work by szalt (dance co.)'s Founding Artistic Director Stephanie Zaletel. The piece will premiere under the light of the full moon and will feature an all-female company of six world-class dancers paired with electro-acoustic composers Louis Lopez and Jonathan Snipes performing live.

A highlight of the Limon Dance Company's May 8-13 Joyce Theater season will be a revival of Jose Limon's 'MISSA BREVIS,' recognized as one of his masterpieces. The work will be set by Kristen Foote, with additional coaching by Clay Taliaferro. The program will also feature by 'The Unsung,' a Limon work with an all-male cast; a new dance for all women by artistic director Colin Connor; and three new duets by young dancemakers commissioned by the Company.

In 2018, Nottingham Playhouse will become the lead producing partner for the acclaimed Ramps on The Moon co-production of Our Country's Good by Timberlake Wertenbaker. Following their critically praised staging of Nikolai Gogol's The Government Inspector and the award winning recent production of The Who's Tommy, this is the third co-production with Ramps on The Moon, a consortium of seven theatre companies dedicated to putting D/deaf and disabled artists and audiences at the centre of their work.
