Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre Artistic Director/co-Founder Fred Anzevino has announced the company's 2014-15 season. The season will include two musicals - both to be directed by Anzevino - and two cabarets saluting two great - and very different - musical theater songwriters. The company's much-acclaimed music directors - Jeremy Ramey and Aaron Benham - will be back, providing musical direction for two shows each.

Two of D.C.'s favorite jazz musicians, pianist John Eaton and bassist Tommy Cecil, will bring a 'cool' and refreshing summer concert, 'Jazz, Blues & Broadway' to The Alden for a single performance on Saturday, June 21, at 8 p.m. The duo will perform a variety of songs, while Eaton will accentuate the music with his trademark witty, astute commentary. Tickets are $27, $18 for McLean district residents. District residents can purchase tickets for $13 prior to May 21. The Alden is located at 1234 Ingleside Avenue, inside the McLean Community Center.

North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) will open the blockbuster 2014 Musical Season with a sparkling all new production of ANYTHING GOES. This saucy tap dance spectacular will be on stage for two weeks only starting Tuesday June 3, and playing through Sunday, June 15. Press night is scheduled for Wednesday, June 4 at 7:30 pm.

Westport Country Playhouse's world premiere musical revue, "Sing for Your Shakespeare," playing June 3 - 22, will feature a six-member cast of Broadway talents: Karen Akers, Britney Coleman, Darius de Haas, Stephen DeRosa, Constantine Germanacos, and Laurie Wells. With selections from Cole Porter's "Kiss Me, Kate," Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim's "West Side Story," and Rodgers and Hart's "The Boys from Syracuse," as well as numbers by Duke Ellington, Frank Loesser, and others, the production explores how the American Songbook has been inspired for decades by Shakespeare's works.
