In 1996, Jonathan Larson's rock-opera RENT changed the landscape of American theatre. A re-imagining of Puccini's La Bohème, RENT chronicles a tumultuous year in the life of seven artists, struggling to navigate between their dreams and the harsh struggles of real life. Though first performed two decades ago, RENT's messages of love, acceptance, and loss remain poignant today.

Witchery is happening in Manhattan and we just happen to be soaking up every spooky moment as the Sanderson Sisters made their much-anticipated cabaret return last night at (le) Poisson Rouge. I Put A Spell On You: The Return of The Sanderson Sisters was everything Halloween and Broadway lovers alike could have hoped for. Full of laugh out loud moments, hip hop dancing, special guest appearances and a witches medley for the ages. This cabaret was true comical absurdity at its finest.
Casting has been announced for Casa Manana's production of High School Musical. Michael Kadin Craig and Jenny Gulley will lead the cast as Troy and Gabriella. Cameron Wade will play Sharpay Evans and Logan Hart will portray Ryan Evans.
The rest of the cast will include Cyndi Steele-Harrod, Brian Mathis, Erica Dorfler, Luke Longacre, Sarah Zeringue, Cori Lynne, Cody Jenkins and Christopher Messina.
