On Thursday, April 8, the cast of the new Off-Broadway play, THE TEMPERAMENTALS, will present their drawing on the wall at The Palm. In celebration of two Lortel Award Nominations, including Outstanding Play and Outstanding Lead Actor for Michael Urie, cast members Michael Urie from TV's 'Ugly Betty', Thomas Jay Ryan from Broadway's IN THE NEXT ROOM, Arnie Burton from the original Broadway cast of 39 STEPS, Matthew Schneck and Sam Breslin Wright will all be present. Additionally, the cast will be celebrating what would have been Harry Hay's belated 98th birthday (Wednesday, April 7).

Michael Urie (Lortel nominee Outstanding Lead Actor) and Jon Marans (star and author of The Temperamentals- Lortel nominee Outstanding Play) will participate at the 'New Directions for Gay Theater' seminar at The Snapple Theater Center's Jerry Orbach Theater, 210 West 50th Street (at Broadway) on Sunday, April 11.

The Denver Center Theatre Company presents an intimate setting of William Shakespeare's Othello.

Nominations in 14 categories and 2 special awards were announced today by the Off-Broadway League for the 2010 Lucille Lortel Awards recognizing outstanding achievement Off-Broadway. This year's ceremony will benefit The Actors Fund.

The Oregon Shakespeare Festival will open Lynn Nottage's award-winning play Ruined, directed by Liesl Tommy, at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 27 in the New Theatre. The play will run through October 31. Ruined joins Lisa's Kron's Well, also playing in the New Theatre, and Hamlet, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and Pride and Prejudice, running in the Angus Bowmer Theatre.

The Denver Center Theatre Company completes the 2009/2010 season with Mama Hated Diesels - a Denver Center World Premiere musical by Randal Myler and Dan Wheetman, an intimate setting of William Shakespeare's Othello and the winner of the National Latino Playwriting Award - Mariela in the Desert by Karen Zacarías.

Legendary costume designer ALBERT WOLSKY and world renowned scenic designer MING CHO LEE are among the 2010 TDF/Irene Sharaff Awards recipients. The awards will be presented at a ceremony on Friday, April 23 at 6:30pm at the Hudson Theatre (145 West 44th Street). Two-time Academy Award-winner Albert Wolsky will receive the 2010 TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award for costume design, and Tony Award-winning scenic designer and educator Ming Cho Lee will receive the TDF/Irene Sharaff Robert L.B. Tobin Award for Sustained Excellence in Theatrical Design.
