Who made this country and how do we move forward together? As we wrestle with questions of identity and ownership, we turn to our greatest playwright to reflect on 'This blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England' as staged by the first-ever company of women of colour in a Shakespeare play on a major UK stage. Co-directed by Adjoa Andoh and Lynette Linton, Adjoa will also play the titular role.

Axis Company today announces the remount of High Noon, their adaptation of the screenplay for the 1952 Western film, devised by an ensemble led by Artistic Director Randy Sharp. The play returns October 3-27, following an acclaimed first run in January of this year.

Actor and Singer/Songwriter Erich Bergen, best known as Blake Moran on the hit CBS drama Madam Secretary (recently renewed for its 5th season), will be performing live at the recently unveiled music venue, SONY HALL, in New York City on Sunday, September 30th, 2018, at 7:30pm. This holiday season, Broadway favorite Aaron Lazar will make his Feinstein's at the Nikko debut with his solo show, Broadway To Hollywood, on Monday, December 17 at 7 p.m. Critically-acclaimed on stage and screen, Lazar will sing some of his favorite songs from Broadway and Hollywood musicals. Broadway to Hollywood is written by Bruce Vilanch and Scott Mauro, a producer of the Tony Award-winning musical, Dear Evan Hansen.

As part of Columbus' celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Harlem Renaissance, the Drexel Theatre will present a special screening of Thelonious Monk: Straight, No Chaser on Thursday, September 27. Released in 1988, the 90-minute documentary chronicles the life of legendary jazz pianist and composer Thelonious Monk (1917-82) and features live performances by Monk and his group as well as posthumous interviews with friends and family.

The Producers Guild of America (PGA) announced today that Kevin Feige will be honored with the 2019 David O. Selznick Achievement Award recognizing the producer's body of work in motion pictures. Feige will receive the award at the 30th Annual Producers Guild Awards on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles.

The British actress Judi Dench will receive the prestigious Donostia Award at the 66th edition of the San Sebastian Festival next month. The Festival's highest honorary award will be presented on Tuesday, September 25th, prior to the screening of Trevor Nunn's Red Joan, in which Dench plays a woman whose tranquil life is suddenly disrupted when she's arrested by MI5 and accused of providing intelligence to Communist Russia.
