American Idol star, Clay Aiken, will be returning to the stage as 'Man in Chair' in North Carolina Theatre's production of THE DROWSY CHAPERONE along with Tony-Award winner, Beth Leavel, who will be reprising her role as the 'Boozy Drowsy Chaperone.' The show is set to run May 7-12 at the Raleigh Memorial Auditorium at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts.
On Twitter, Broadway veterans Clay Aiken and Constantine Maroulis are having a twitter battle, after Aiken posted a photo of the Jekyll & Hyde set, but apparently never showed up for the show.

tamford Center for the Arts will be awarding its fourth Annual Emerging Young Artist Scholarship Award to a talented vocalist, in honor of Liza Minnelli in the Spring of 2013 at SCA's Ovations Gala. The recipient of this award will receive a $2,000 scholarship to pursue his/her musical education. The criteria and audition process for the scholarship is outlined on SCA's website at www.SCAlive.org on the Education page. The audition is open to all high school students, grades nine through twelve, who live in Fairfield County, CT. The deadline to submit the completed audition form, resume and CD is February 25, 2013.
