Claire Danes says she was initially skeptical the concept for the post-9/11 terrorism thriller "Homeland" would go over well with TV audiences. Strassmann's full interview will be broadcast today, Sept. 23 on CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD (9:00 AM, ET) on the CBS Television Network.

According to Entertainment Weekly, stage and screen star F. Murray Abraham has signed on to appear in the second season of Showtime's 'Homeland.' Abraham will star as 'a brilliant intelligence operative in his 60-70's. He has worked all over the world for the Special Activities Division of the CIA.'

STARZ announced today the casting of Toby Stephens in the lead role of 'Captain Flint' in the upcoming Michael Bay-produced original series BLACK SAILS, which is expected to air on STARZ in 2014. The eight-episode first season of the pirate adventure centers on the tales of Captain Flint and his men, and takes place 20 years prior to Robert Louis Stevenson's classic 'Treasure Island.'

Tony-winner Kristin Chenoweth just co-hosted the premiere episode of Anderson Cooper's daytime talk show, ANDERSON LIVE. The actress, who was recently injured while filming a scene for the CBS drama series 'The Good Wife,' joined Coooper on his newly reformatted show which returned today on September 10th.
