The Robey Theatre Company has teamed up with East West Players to present an intriguing production of YOHEN directed by Ben Guillory. How generous an actor Danny Glover to cede the East West stage to June Angela's dominating performance of Sumi, the traditional, meek Japanese housewife finally coming into her own after 37 years of marriage to James (Glover's character).

Amas Musical Theatre, in celebration of its 49th season, will present Dare To Be Different, a series of three new musicals and three one-night only special events from November 30 - December 15 at A.R.T./New York Theatres (502 West 53rd Street - 10th Avenue & 53rd Street).

A staged reading of John Ball's In The Heat of the Night will be held at the Omaha Community Playhouse Monday, September 18, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. as part of the Alternative Programming series in OCP's Howard Drew Theatre. These readings are free and open to the public with the opportunity for donation. No tickets or reservations are necessary.

I Am, I Will, I Do will be directed by Christopher Scott with music direction by Matthew Croft at The Peter Jay Sharp Theater (416 W. 42nd St.).
