BWW REVIEW: I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE at GSP is the Finest Musical Comedy

You'll laugh and laugh some more. I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change kicks off the inviting season ahead at George Street Playhouse.The production enjoys inspired direction by the GSP's Artistic Director, David Saint and features a multi-talented cast. The book and lyrics are by Joe DiPierto with music by Jimmy Roberts.

Miles G. Jackson to Star in MY NAME IS ASHER LEV at George Street Playhouse; Cast Announced!

George Street Playhouse today announced the cast of Aaron Posner's MY NAME IS ASHER LEV, which runs April 12 through May 1 at the New Brunswick theatre. Miles G. Jackson (4000 Miles) will portray the titular Jewish artist Asher Lev, who must be a painter despite his faith and the will of his family. Bob Ari (Frost/Nixon, GSP's Red) and Lena Kaminsky (Law & Order, GSP's The Pillowman) both return to George Street to round out the cast.  MY NAME IS ASHER LEV will be directed by George Street Playhouse Director of Education and Outreach, Jim Jack.

CLEVER LITTLE LIES Performance to Benefit The Actors Fund

Producers Joan Raffe, Jhett Tolentino, and Douglas Denoff announced today that two time Tony Award-winner Joe DiPietro's critically acclaimed new comedy Clever Little Lies, will offer a Producer's Picks performance to benefit The Actors Fund on Thursday, January 21st at 7:00PM at the Westside Theatre (Upstairs) (407 West 43rd Street). The Actors Fund's Producer's Picks tickets are donated by the producers, and can be purchased at http://www.actorsfund.org/CleverLittleLies. All proceeds from the sale of these select tickets to this regular performance will go to The Actors Fund, which helps all professionals in performing arts and entertainment.

CLEVER LITTLE LIES, Starring Marlo Thomas, to Close Early Off-Broadway

Despite a previous extension through March 2016, BroadwayWorld has just learned that the new comedy CLEVER LITTLE LIES by two-time Tony Award-winner Joe DiPietro will play its final performance on Sunday, January 24th at the Westside Theatre (Upstairs) (407 West 43rd Street).
