DEAD RINGER Makes Jersey Premiere at NJ Rep Tonight, 10/15
by Jessica Lewis - Oct 15, 2009

Gino DiIorio's Dead Ringer gets its world premiere tonight at NJ Rep Theater. The play, a family drama set on the Texas range in 1885, follows Tyrus Cole, an old, tempermental horse trainer who lives on a ranch with his invalid sister, Mary. Because he is unable to watch her during the day, Mary is confined to a root cellar. Dwight Foley's arrival, as a young stranger seeking help with his horse, upsets the balance between Cole and Mary. What unfolds is a web of shady business and secrets. The show opens officially on Saturday, October 17 and runs through November 15.
