Michael Barrett, now in his 7th year as CEO and General Director of Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts, announces the lineup for the 65th Caramoor International Music Festival, held annually at the Center's distinguished 90-acre garden estate in Katonah, New York.

Saxophonist, composer and arranger, TIM GREEN, is a rising star on the International music scene. A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Tim was inspired to pursue music by a family of musicians at the young age of 10. A student at the Manhattan School of Music in 2004, where he studied with world-renowned instructors such as Dick Oatts, Gary Dial, Bob Mintzer and Steve Slagle Green has had the opportunity to perform with various artists such as Roy Hargrove, Mulgrew Miller, Jon Faddis, Christian McBride, Carl Allen, Rodney Whitaker, Hubert Laws, Kenny Burrell, and Patrice Rushen to name a few. http://www.myspace.com/timgreenmusic

In March 2010, the National Jazz Museum in Harlem presents public programming that brings jazz fans closer to artists-emerging to living masters-that embody the art form that defines America to itself and to the world.

The National Jazz Museum in Harlem will be hosting two events for February including: JAZZ FOR CURIOUS LISTENERS : Jazz on Film: Rarities with host Christian McBride and HARLEM IN THE HIMALAYAS: Bassist and Monk Competition Winner Ben Williams. The National Jazz Museum runs the gamut from rare films of Miles, Cannonball, Herbie Hancockandother rare treats hosted by our Co-Director bass great Christian McBride to an evening of brilliant contemporary jazz led by young bass phenom Ben Williams at the best acoustic venue in Manhattan.

The 2010 University Of Michigan Jazz Festival 'Charles Mingus Day' will take place February 13th at 7:30p.m. at the Power Center for the Performing Arts in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
