In December 2023, the OC welcomed back two powerhouse vocalists who each gave their own respective holiday-themed concerts: Broadway fave Megan Hilty at Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa; and recording artist Linda Eder at the Irvine Barclay Theatre. To no one's surprise, both entertained and awed with their spectacular talents.
The Ted Herbert Music School will welcome Justin Greenberg and Conor Powers to its faculty. Justin Greenberg will be teaching Electric Bass, Upright Bass, Guitar, and Ukulele. Conor Powers will be teaching Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba, and Trumpet.
The fifth annual Tipping Point all-star benefit concert, presented by Tulane University, will return on November 12, headlined by Chaka Khan. The evening will also include performances from the New Orleans house band.
Adam Deitch, the renowned drummer for Lettuce and Break Science, has announced a special New Orleans performance during Jazz Fest billed as Deitch Daze.
The Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present The Matt & Brian Show, starring critically acclaimed singer/songwriters Matt Cusson and Brian Gallagher, who appeared on the historic stage on Sunday, April 24, along with special guest vocalists Megan Hilty, Celisse Henderson and Carly Hughes.
