Bay Street Theater is pleased to continue adding to the Comedy Club line up for this summer. The two all new shows just added are Robert Klein on Saturday, June 22, and Colin Quinn on Saturday, July 27. Tickets for both shows go on sale to the public on April 5. Comedy Central today announced talent and taping information for 12 new half-hour specials, 10 for Season 3 of its Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents... half-hour series and two under the Amy Schumer Presents banner.

NBC has announced the second group of superstar acts who will compete on the all-new winter edition of TV's #1 alternative series, "America's Got Talent: The Champions," premiering Monday, Jan. 7 from 8-10 p.m. ET/PT.  

AMC's “The Walking Dead” will return for the second half of season nine on Sunday, February 10 at 9:00 p.m. ET/ PT as announced by Chris Hardwick on last night's “Talking Dead.”  Hardwick also revealed that the season three premiere of “Ride with Norman Reedus” will air at midnight that same evening.

AMC has cast Emmy®-nominated actor and producer Zachary Quinto ("Star Trek," "American Horror Story") and rising star Ashleigh Cummings ("The Goldfinch," "Hounds of Love") in the lead roles for its new supernatural horror series "NOS4A2" (working title). The network also announced Emmy®-nominated director Kari Skogland ("The Handmaid's Tale," "Sons of Liberty") will direct the first two episodes of the series based on Joe Hill's bestselling novel of the same name. Production began this week in Rhode Island. The 10 one-hour episodes are slated to premiere in 2019.

On Monday, November 5, 2018, the Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF) will host its annual New York Fall Gala at Cipriani 42ndStreet in New York City.  At this year's gala, EJAF Founder Sir Elton John and Chairman David Furnish will honor Ford Foundation President Darren Walker, philanthropist Patricia Hearst, and long-time advocate Joe McMillan, CEO and Chairman of DDG, with EJAF's Enduring Vision Award.  Nine-time Grammy Award Winning Singer, Songwriter Sheryl Crow will be the special musical guest, and Bryan Stevenson, Founder and Executive Director of the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI) and the new National Memorial for Peace and Justice in Montgomery, Alabama, will be the featured speaker. CBS This Morning co-anchor and journalist Gayle King will host the event.

The Tonight Show has cancelled Norm Macdonald's appearance on the show after the comedian made comments about the #MeToo movement that incited controversy, according to Variety.

AMC today announced “The Little Drummer Girl,” will premiere in the U.S. as a must-watch, three-night television event with a two-hour episode on November 19 at 9:00 P.M. ET/PT. Additional two-hour episodes will air on consecutive nights at 9:00 P.M. ET/PT on November 20 and November 21.
