Heather Headley stars in The Bodyguard musical, opening today, November 6 at the Adelphi Theatre in London. She will play Rachel Marron, a role originated by Whitney Houston on the silver screen. Lloyd Owen plays alongside Headley as a former Secret Service agent-turned bodyguard, hired to protect Rachel from a stalker.

Based on Lawrence Kasdan's 1992 Warner Bros. film, this brand new musical of The Bodyguard, with book by Alex Dinelaris will open at the Adelphi Theatre in Autumn 2012. Previews begin on 6 November 2012, twenty years after the release of the Oscar nominated film.

The Prince's Trust will be the benefitting charity for the Huawei Winter Concert 2012. Headlining the evening are multi-award winning musical theatre stars Elaine Paige and Ruthie Henshall.
