Organic Theater Company has announced that Stephanie Sullivan has taken over as the new Managing Director of Organic Theater Company. Joshua Anderson, who served as the Managing Director of Organic for the last six years, is now the Finance Director for the company, as well as focusing more on directing and working on his starring role as New Dad.

Goodman Theatre's commitment to new work and commissioning emerging artists continues as four Chicago-based writers are announced as the 2020/2021 Playwrights Unit.

Los Angeles-based Echo Theater Company, dedicated to creating new work for the theater, has announced the nine writers who will participate in the company's 2020 Playwrights Lab.

Chicago Dramatists has announced its new slate of resident playwrights.

John Sanders, who was most recently on Broadway in Groundhog Day the Musical, offered some inspirational words in the form of a song. Sanders performed a guitar arrangement of Night Will Come, a song written by Tim Minchin for Groundhog Day. 'So many are hurting right now, and I know from our show that this song resonates with people during tough times,' Sanders said.
