On Friday night "Jimmy Kimmel Live" concluded its week-long run of shows from Brooklyn's Harvey Theater at BAM - Brooklyn Academy of Music. In an effort to support the thousands of people still suffering from the effects of Hurricane Sandy, "JKL" and ABC will auction off Kimmel's custom-made, Brooklyn-themed desk signed by late-night talk show hosts David Letterman, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel.

The 2012 American Film Market (AFM), set for October 31-November 7 in Santa Monica will screen more than 420 motion pictures, including 77 world premieres and 306 market premieres, for thousands of film buyers and industry professionals from more than 70 countries. Seth McFarlane has been tapped to host the 85th Academy Awards, telecast producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron announced today. This will be MacFarlane's first appearance on Oscar's stage. The 85th Academy Awards will be held on Oscar Sunday, Feb 24 on the ABC television network, and will air live.
