Coinciding with the centenary of the First World War, The Return of the Soldier is an intimate new chamber musical by Tim Sanders (book and lyrics) and Charles Miller (composer) based on Rebecca West's celebrated 1918 novel. This intensely bitter-sweet tale dissects the very different love of three women for Captain Christopher Baldry. The Return of the Solider will play Jermyn Street Theatre, 16b Jermyn Street, London SW1Y 6ST from Today 2nd September to Saturday 20th September 2014. Press Night: Thursday 4th September, 7.30pm.

Last night (Wednesday, Aug. 20), the award-winning, multi-platinum American singer, songwriter and actor BILLY RAY CYRUS dropped by the House of Blues to perform at “Rock For Ruben,” a benefit concert for the renowned industry guitar tech Ruben Velasco. CYRUS joined friends Rick Springfield and John 5 (Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson) to lend his support for Ruben as he undergoes treatment for with Stage IV cancer.

Widely regarded as one of the finest plays ever written by an American, Our Town will be directed by Obie-award winning director Les Waters. The production, part of the Brown-Forman Series, will begin previews tonight, January 21, open on January 23 and run through February 9, 2014.
