The ABC Television Network will kick off the holiday season with the classic half-hour animated PEANUTS special, “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving,” WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 26 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on ABC.

ABC celebrates the joy of the holidays, including the world premiere of Pixar Animation Studios', “Toy Story That Time Forgot,” the return of the competition series, “The Great Christmas Light Fight,” special musical performances on “CMA Country Christmas,” and classic, animated Christmas specials from Walt Disney Animation Studios, PEANUTS, DreamWorks Animation and Dr. Seuss, among others.

In the 1973 special, “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving,” created by late cartoonist Charles M. Schulz, Charlie Brown wants to do something special for the gang. However, the dinner he arranges is a disaster when the caterers, Snoopy and Woodstock, prepare toast and popcorn as the main dish. ABC celebrates the scariest night of the year with Halloween-themed programming, kicking off TONIGHT, OCTOBER 15. Highlights include the beloved animated special, 'It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,' ghoulishly good times with 'The Chew,' the return of fan favorite special, 'The Great Halloween Fright Fight,' a Wednesday night family comedy block of tricks, treats and laughter with 'The Middle,' 'The Goldbergs,' 'Modern Family' and new comedy series 'black-ish,' along with an all-new 'Cristela.'

Starting with the imaginative small space staging by director Cate Caplin, musical direction by Jeff Bonhiver, and choreography by Samantha Whidby who also stage manages the production, each of the actors lovingly brings all our favorite Peanuts comic strip characters to life. Set to music in a series of vignettes, "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" chronicles an average day in the life of Charlie Brown (Holland Noel) and his friends Linus (Richie Ferris), Lucy (Dorothy Dillingham Blue), Schroeder (John Devereaux), along with his sister Sally (Kristin Towers-Rowles), and of course his loyal dog Snoopy (Matt Steele). This little show is packed with heart and humor, expressed in the pure and honest simple truths of children, performed by a fun-loving and super energetic cast.

Following its celebrated East Coast premiere at the 2014 New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC), the critically acclaimed ABSOLUTELY FILTHY will return to NYC as part of SoHo Playhouse's FringeNYC ENCORE SERIES with performances from today, October 1st through October 5th only at SoHo Playhouse (15 Vandam Street between Varick and Spring Streets).
