On June 9th, the Broadway and touring companies of Spring Awakening will reunite on the stage of 54 Below. Newly announced to the cast are Jenna Ushkowitz (Glee), Alexandra Socha (Fun Home) and Ben Moss (Brooklynite).

The Broadway Artists Connection (BAC) has announced that it will dedicate its annual fundraising event to the Creative Arts Team (CAT) Youth Theatre. The song and dance filled evening featuring over a dozen Broadway artists will take place on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe, the Lower East Side's cultural landmark for more than 35 years and will be hosted by Broadway Veteran Colin Cunliffe (Pippin, Addams Family, Cry-Baby).

Multi Ethnic Theater, in association with Custom Made Theatre, presents August Wilson's Jitney, beginning today, August 7, and continues through August 31, at Gough Street Playhouse, 1620 Gough Street in San Francisco. Jitney is directed by Lewis Campbell, founder and artistic director of Multi Ethnic Theater. The play concerns a group of working class men who offer gypsy cab rides to and from African American communities where city cabs refuse to go.
Horse Trade Theater Group presents Dysfunctional Theatre Company's evening of short plays, A Clamour of Cabaret: A Volume of Vaudeville Varieties featuring stories written by F. Scott Fitzgerald, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Mim Granahan, Josh Hartung, Emily Edwards, and Patrick Storck directed by Eric Chase, Emily Edwards, Amy Overman, Justin Plowman, and Mim Granahan.
