The Growing Stage, The Children's Theatre of New Jersey, located in the Historic Palace Theatre on Route 183 in Netcong, New Jersey will celebrate the holidays with last season's hit holiday classic A CHRISTMAS CAROL the Musical from November 18th  through December 18th  with performances Today evenings at 7:30 PM, Saturday and Sunday matinees at 4:00 PM. A CHRISTMAS CAROL the Musical is based on the story by Charles Dickens with music by Alan Menken (Disney's The Little Mermaid), lyrics by Lynn Ahrens (Seussical) and book by Mike Ockrent and Lynn Ahrens. A CHRISTMAS CAROL the Musical is under the direction of Stephen L. Fredericks, The Growing Stage's Executive Director with choreography by Jillian Petrie and musical direction by Stephen Fox.

Flat "God bless us, everyone!" This holiday season, Flat Rock Playhouse will present the classic A Christmas Carol from November 17 through December 17 on the Clyde and Nina Allen Mainstage in the Village of Flat Rock.  Adapted from the Charles Dickens novel for the stage by Richard Helleson, A Christmas Carol features original music and lyrics adapted from traditional sources by David De Berry.  Returning to Flat Rock Playhouse by popular demand since its record-breaking 2014 run, A Christmas Carol is sure to delight, entertain, inspire and enchant. Hale Centre Theatre in downtown Gilbert is well known for their annual production of Charles Dickens', A Christmas Carol. Since receiving the award for 'Best Christmas Production in Arizona,' audiences have been lining up in Gilbert to see Scrooge and his ghostly visitors. It has become a family tradition for audiences and a must-see every holiday season, with each year bringing a little something different.

A Christmas Carol comes to the Theatre School @ North Coast Repertory Theatre as a fundraiser for The Theatre School. Directed by Benjamin Cole, this production will be a largely festive, musical event with a cast of one adult and 40 student actors!

Howard Community College's Arts Collective continues its 22nd season with “A Christmas Carol: A Live Radio Play”, adapted for the stage by Joe Landry, with music by Kevin Connors, from the novella by Charles Dickens. The production will take place December 8–11, in the Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center's Studio Theatre.

Pioneer Theatre Company presents Oliver!, the award-winning musical by Lionel Bart inspired by the orphan's tale, Oliver Twist, written by Charles Dickens. Oliver! runs December 2 to December 17, 2016.

Actors narrate at various times, play multiple characters, sing and contribute to the soundscape for the production in the style of the Royal Shakespeare Company's landmark production of The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby. CHARLES DICKENS' A CHRISTMAS CAROL opens in Ventura on Saturday, December 10 at 7:00 p.m. followed by an after-party at Rhumb Line Restaurant. Low-priced previews are December 7-9. The show runs Wednesdays through Sundays through December 24.
