The 50th Anniversary season promises to please with Michigan Premieres, a hilarious comedy, and a nostalgic musical sure to take you on a trip back in time!

Two of the Valley's favorite and most-celebrated actors will bring their special gifts to the holiday season in limited engagement one-person performances of Charles Dickens' beloved holiday classic, A Christmas Carol, and David Sedaris' hilarious anti-holiday tale, The Santaland Diaries.  Produced by Arizona Theatre Company in association with the Herberger Theatre Center, both shows will play in an intimate custom-built 250-seat stage-within-a-stage located in the grandly theatrical setting of Center Stage in downtown Phoenix.

A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre company, presents Arthur Miller's classic ALL MY SONS, as part of the 2015-2016 BREAKING AND ENTERING season, directed by Geoff Elliott, beginning October 11 and playing through November 21, 2015 (opens on October 17). Miller was born on October 17, 1915 (this production opens on the actual day and date of the centennial of Miller's birth).

The Colony Theatre is thrilled to present the second production of its 41st season, the West Coast Premiere of THE BEST OF ENEMIES by Mark St. Germain, directed by David Rose.  THE BEST OF ENEMIES will preview on Wednesday, September 16; Thursday, September 17; and Friday, September 18 at 8:00pm. It will open on Saturday, September 19 at 8:00pm and continue through Sunday, October 18.

Arizona Theatre Company, in a special collaboration with Stray Cat Theatre, will present Laura Eason's new comedy about the calculations people are making to find love or fame in an age of social media, brightly-lit phone screens and blogging. The story, focusing on the substantial influence Pearl had on both Chinese and Western cultures, will be brought to life through new choreography by Daniel Ezralow (Ezralow Dance Company, MOMIX, Sochi Olympics Opening Ceremony, Academy Awards), a new score composed by Jun Miyake (collaborations with Robert Wilson, Pina Bausch, David Byrne and Oliver Stone) dazzling visuals and a company of 30 American and Chinese dancers.

The 2015-16 season at Hedgerow promises hilarity, chills, thrills, suspense, intrigue, mystery and a holiday tradition, with a schedule that includes the comic detective spoof Bullshot Crummond, the Gothic horror of Dracula, the 23rd annual A Christmas Carol, the amazing true story of British spy turned playwright Aphra Behn in Or, the world premiere of Agatha Christie's Mysterious Affair at Styles, and the classic Italian comedy The Servant of Two Masters.

The award-winning New York City Children's Theater (formerly Making Books Sing) which will feature two world premiere musicals, a highly anticipated revival and a special one-night engagement at Joe's Pub at the Public Theater in its 2015-16 season. Gloucester Stage presents Annie Baker's The Flick from tonight, August 20 through September 12 at 267 East Main Street, Gloucester, MA. Winner of the 2014 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, The Flick, follows three underpaid employees of a run-down movie theater in central Massachusetts as they mop the floors and attend to one of the last 35-millimeter film projectors in the state while also revealing touching and funny truths about their search for identity. Their tiny battles and not-so-tiny heartbreaks play out in the empty aisles of the movie theater, becoming more compelling than the lackluster, second-run movies on screen. In The Flick playwright Annie Baker uses keen insight and a finely-tuned comic eye to create a funny and heartfelt cry for authenticity in a fast-changing world. In addition to winning a Pulitzer Prize for The Flick, Ms. Baker also received the Susan Smith Blackburn Award and an Obie Award for Playwriting.

Directed by Julia Rodriguez-Elliott, the show begins previews on September 6 and plays through November 22, 2015 (opens on September 12). Flea is the first production in A Noise Within's 2015-2016 BREAKING & ENTERING season, and is followed by the world premiere translation/adaptation of Jean Anouilh's Antigone by Robertson Dean (September 20 to November 20) and All My Sons by Arthur Miller, the Company's contribution to the global Miller Centennial Celebration(October 11-November 21).
