Kingsborough Performing Arts Center's 2010-2011 season of Music, Dance, Theatre, Literature, and Family shows is now on sale and with a new season brings a new executive director and a new vision for Kingsborough's oceanfront performing arts center.

Two legendary ladies of stage and screen are headed to Laguna Beach this September for exclusive limited engagements at The Laguna Playhouse. First to arrive is ETHEL MERMAN'S BROADWAY September 8 - 19. Then it's time for Cloris Leachman in CLORIS: A ONE WOMAN SHOW September 23 - 27.

La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts & McCoy Rigby Entertainment re thrilled to present Marilu Henner, who will be reprising her critically-acclaimed Broadway performance as Lee Green and Caroline Aaron will star as Marjorie Taub in a newly-revised version of Charles Busch's hilarious Broadway hit, THE TALE OF THE ALLERGIST'S WIFE, directed by Jeff Maynard (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee).

Cynthia Nixon, Moises Kaufman, Cheyenne Jackson, Alan Cumming, Rosie O'Donnell, Charles Busch, Kathryn Erbe, Terrence McNally, Sarah Paulson, and Cherry Jones are set to host and attend a fund raiser on Sept 13, 2010 at 15 Central Park West for Fight Back NY.

Victory Gardens Fresh Squeezed announces the World Premiere of Aiming For Sainthood, written and performed by Arlene Malinowski, directed by Will Rogers. The production runs September 20-26, 2010, in the in the Richard Christiansen Theater at Victory Gardens, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue, Chicago. The press opening is Monday, September 20, 2010, at 7:30 p.m.

Primary Stages, in association with Ted Snowdon, launched its 26th season with the New York premiere of SECRETS OF THE TRADE by Jonathan Tolins directed by Matt Shakman last night, August 10. The five-member cast features Amy Aquino as Joanne Lipman, Bill Brochtrup as Bradley, John Glover as Martin Kerner, Mark Nelson as Peter Lipman and Noah Robbins as Andrew Lipman.

For the sixth year in a row, the Wagner College Theater has been ranked by the Princeton Review among the top collegiate stage programs in the nation. The ranking appeared in the Princeton Review's 2011 'Best 373 Colleges' guide, which was released Aug. 3.
