In 2010 Jimmy Kimmel declared November 17 National Unfriend Day, "NUD," a national holiday dedicated to giving Facebook users a guilt-free opportunity to "unfriend" people who aren't actually friends. In honor of the 3rd annual "NUD" celebration, Kimmel is encouraging viewers to evaluate their Facebook "friendships" and unfriend those unworthy of friend status.

On Friday night "Jimmy Kimmel Live" concluded its week-long run of shows from Brooklyn's Harvey Theater at BAM - Brooklyn Academy of Music. In an effort to support the thousands of people still suffering from the effects of Hurricane Sandy, "JKL" and ABC will auction off Kimmel's custom-made, Brooklyn-themed desk signed by late-night talk show hosts David Letterman, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel.

A new trailer international trailer for G.I. JOE RETALIATION has been released from Paramount. The film is directed by Jon M. The first trailer for director Steven Soderbergh's psychological thriller SIDE EFFECTS has been released. Rooney Mara stars as a troubled young woman who develops a dangerous love triangle between her doctor (Jude Law) and her newly paroled husband (Channing Tatum). Variety reports that Sony Pictures has acquired the U.S. distribution rights to Bennett Miller's crime drama FOXCATCHER.

Columbia Pictures has picked up the United States distribution rights to Bennett Miller's FOXCATCHER from Annapurna Pictures. In addition to the U.S. distribution rights, Columbia Pictures also joins the film as a co-financer. The deal reunites Miller with Columbia, having previously collaborated with the studio on last fall's release of the Academy Award®-nominated picture, MONEYBALL. Panorama Media is commencing International sales of the film at the upcoming American Film Market.

GPR Records (Glen Roven, Peter Fitzgerald, Richard Cohen, artistic directors) will release a children's CD of Catherine Zeta-Jones narrating The Runaway Bunny, based on the best selling children's classic by Margaret Wise Brown. Michael Douglas narrates everyone's favorite elephant - The Story of Babar - The Little Elephant, a 1931 classic written by Jean de Brunhoff. Also on the CD will be English Baritone Mark Stone singing Goodnight Moon also by Margaret Wise Brown. The CD, distributed by Naxos, will be released on November 15th and will be available at www.GPRRecords.com, Amazon, and iTunes.
