According to The Hollywood Reporter, Robin Williams and Brooke Shields have been added as presnters for this year's Tony Awards.

Variety is reporting that Tony winners Laura Benanti and Katie Finneran will host the Creative Arts Awards portion of the Tonys, which as in the past will take place before the CBS broadcast. Unlike previous years where the ceremony was an hour, this year's has been shortened to 30 minutes. The trade paper reports that details on which awards they'll be presenting this year are not clear.

The Tony Awards announced today that they will reassemble an all-star cast of the New York Philharmonic's limited run of Company for the 2011 Tony Awards. This once-in-a-lifetime assembly of talent will perform LIVE exclusively at the Tony Awards on Sunday, June 12th. The performance will include: Stephen Colbert, Jon Cryer, Katie Finneran, Neil Patrick Harris, Christina Hendricks, Aaron Lazar, Patti LuPone, Jill Paice, Martha Plimpton, Anika Noni Rose, Jennifer Laura Thompson, Jim Walton and Chryssie Whitehead. Michael Riedel reports in today's New York Post that talks are underway for a potential performance by Bono, The Edge and cast members from SPIDER-MAN on this year's Tony Awards. The show, which hasn't opened yet would traditionally not be offered a performance slot, which are normally reserved for musicals nominated for Best Musical and Best Revival of a Musical. Riedel also reports that in addition to trying to find a spot for SPIDER-MAN, producers are also attempting to find a slot for PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT. Also on the list? Much of the cast of THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS will reunite to perform 'Commencing in Chattanooga' and 'Go Back Home'.

Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director) has announced that DAVID WILSON BARNES (Second Stage's hit Becky Shaw), JUSTIN BARTHA (The Hangover, Broadway's Lend Me a Tenor), ANNA CAMP (Second Stage's The Scene, 'True Blood'), and KRYSTEN RITTER (Confessions of a Shopaholic, Second Stage's All This Intimacy) will appear in the world premiere comedy, ALL NEW PEOPLE, written by ZACH BRAFF and directed by PETER DuBOIS. FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed 'Best of New York' by New York Magazine and 'an invaluable New York institution' by The New York Post, will continue its Spring 2011 season with the return of Broadway star AARON LAZAR in his new show 'For Lovers Only' - an evening of romantic love songs - for two nights only, Sunday, June 19 and Monday, June 20. He will be joined by Music Director Jeff Klitz on piano, Bernd Schoenhart on guitar, and special guest vocalist Capathia Jenkins. The show, directed by David Solomon, will feature new arrangements of classic love songs by composers Adam Guettel, Richard Rodgers, Bruno Mars, Jason Robert Brown, Cole Porter, Ashford and Simpson, Stephen Sondheim and others. Both shows are at the Loews Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).

Earlier reports of Alec Baldwin's departure from the upcoming big screen adaptation of ROCK OF AGES may be inaccurate. The star had been said to have withdrawn for unspecified reasons, according to The Hollywood Reporter. THR now reports that

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center will present its annual Monte Cristo Award to legendary Broadway and screen actor James Earl Jones, in recognition of his monumental achievements and contributions to the American and international theater community. The award will be presented to Mr. Jones at a gala dinner held in his honor at Bridgewaters - South Street Seaport in New York City on Monday, May 9th at 6:30pm.

'Breaking Bad's' Bryan Cranston is set to play the mayor in the upcoming 'Rock of Ages' film, to be directed by Shankman and based on the Broadway musical, according to Deadline.com. Cranston will play the husband of an advocate who wants to ban rock and roll. That role will be played by Catherine Zeta-Jones and both were created specifically for the movie.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Adam Shankman has created a role for Catherine Zeta Jone in the highly anticipated big screen adaptation of ROCK OF AGES. JOne, who is currently in final negotiations for the film, will play a villian character described by Shankman as: 'if Tipper Gore and Anita Bryant had a love child. She is this hardcore, moral majority, arch-conservative who wants to shut down rock'n roll in the great city of Los Angeles.'
