The first trailer for director Steven Soderbergh's psychological thriller SIDE EFFECTS has been released. Broadway star Marla Mindelle's (Cinderella, Sister Act) short film The Devil's Bitch has been named as an official selection in the 2012 Friar's Club Comedy Film Festival. Mindelle stars in the darkly comic musical short, which she co-created with Jonathan Parks-Ramage, New York based writer/producer.

Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg will join Catherine Zeta-Jones to present the 2012 Mayor's Awards for Arts and Culture to six individuals and organizations in celebration of their outstanding contributions to New York City's cultural life. The Mayor will also present the NYC Handel Medallion, New York City's highest award for achievement in the arts, to Harvey Lichtenstein. The event, to be held at New York City Center, will feature live performances by leading performing arts organizations, and appearances by special guest artists.

Due to overwhelming popular demand, the producers of Gerard Alessandrini's brand- new FORBIDDEN BROADWAY: ALIVE AND KICKING have announced the show will be extending its run at the 47th Street Theatre (304 West 47th Street - just west of Eighth Avenue) through April 28th, 2013. The production is co-directed by Phillip George. FORBIDDEN BROADWAY: ALIVE AND KICKING opened on September 6th after a three-year absence from New York.
