The international tour of MAMMA MIA! is coming to Cork for the first time and will play at the Marquee Cork for two weeks only from 20th July 2010. Tickets start at €39.20.

Paul Roseby, Artistic Director of the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, today announced the company's 2010 season, entitled ‘The Five Elements', which will include a re-working of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Shanghai Expo, a 600-strong cast of young actors swarming around London, a new play about the superstar Victorian chef Alexis Soyer, and a new work from Rebecca Lenkiewicz about a female pop star in Afghanistan.

The Parisian MAMMA MIA! cast was announced this week, and shortly after appeared in their first photo shoot together. Donna Sheridan will be played by Sophie Delmas, Rosie by Karen Gluck, Tanya by Marion Posta, Sophie by Gaelle Gauthier, Sky by Dan Menasche, Sam by Jerome Pradon, Harry by Patrick Mazet and Bill by Francis Boulogne.

Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus' MAMMA MIA!, the smash hit musical based on the songs of ABBA, will return to the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium in September of 2010. According to xinhuanet.com, MAMMA MIA! will be come the first major western musical to be produced in Chinese for a run in China. The website reports: '[China Arts and Entertainment Group] CAEG, which promotes Chinese-language productions of musical theatre masterpieces, signed the licensing agreement [with European music company Littlestar] at a ceremony in Beijing on Wednesday (June 2, 2010), and is now set to produce 'Mamma Mia!' 13th foreign-language version, following its original English...Zhang Yu, president of CAEG, said 'Mamma Mia!' will be the first worldwide musical masterpiece to be produced in Chinese...'

The international tour of ?MAMMA MIA!? will play at the Echo Arena Liverpool for 3 weeks only from June 3rd - June 20th 2010, with a gala press night on Thursday 3 June. The tour is coming to Liverpool for the first time, direct from a highly successful engagement in Switzerland.
