Celebrity Autobiography: In Their Own Words will be at Bay Street on July 20 at 8:00 p.m. as part of Bay Street Theatre's Monday Night Comedy Club.

The Trevor Project, the leading national organization focused on crisis and suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth, raised approximately $210,000 at its ninth annual East Coast fundraising gala, Trevor New York, last Monday, June 29. Academy Award-winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black was honored with the Trevor Hero Award and CNN was named as the Trevor Commitment Award recipient, both for serving as inspirations to LGBTQ youth. Tony Award nominee Gavin Creel presented to Black and Jane Velez-Mitchell, host of HLN's (sister network of CNN) 'Issues with Jane Velez-Mitchell,' accepted the award from broadcaster Keith Boykin, on behalf of CNN.

Bay Street Theatre kicks off the month of July with a bang as the legendary Betty Buckley returns for three performances of a new and critically acclaimed show 'Broadway By Request.' The 4th of July weekend fun begins on Friday, July 3 (Ms. Buckley's birthday concert) at 8pm, with additional shows on Saturday, July 4th at 5pm and 7pm. 'Broadway By Request' features songs and behind the scene stories from Buckley's many Broadway hits as requested by the audience.

On Saturday May 30th 2009 Tony Winner Sara Ramirez star of ' Grey's Anatomy' and 'Spamalot' and Emmy Winner Carson Kressley host of 'Queer Eye for the Straight Guy' and 'How to Look Good Naked' will be hosting the first benefit gala event for the Al D.
