To kick off the season of good tidings, Minus5 invited a selection of entertainers throughout Las Vegas to be a part of its Winter Wonderland experience. Notables who attended include Comedian Carrot Top, Celebrity Chef Rick Moonen, Multi-Talented Entertainer Terry Fator, Comedy Hypnotist Marc Savard, Rock Start Artist Michael Godard and cast members from The Broadway Theater (New York - New York Hotel & Casino), FANTASY (Luxor Hotel and Casino), Menopause the Musical (Luxor Hotel and Casino) and Thunder from Down Under (Excalibur Hotel and Casino).
Carrot Top Joins Hard Rock International to Support Imagine There's No Hunger Campaign

Hard Rock Cafes in Las Vegas, NV have teamed up with Vegas entertainers for the season of giving. Las Vegas entertainers are participating by wearing a charity bracelet in support of the Hard Rock International's 2012 global IMAGINE THERE'S NO HUNGER campaign to combat childhood hunger and poverty around the world.

On November 9th, Cirque du Soleil celebrated the Las Vegas premiere of its newest resident show Zarkana at ARIA Resort & Casino at CityCenter. Zarkana, a visually stunning modern acrobatic spectacular, begins its residency at ARIA following hugely successful engagements at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, Arena Madrid and Moscow's Kremlin State Palace Theatre.

There's a moment in the current production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's CAROUSEL at Connecticut's Goodspeed Opera House where James Snyder steps onto the dock which is constructed over the orchestra pit to deliver Billy Bigelow's famous "Soliloquy" that absolutely electrifies the audience. Snyder's strong stage presence and powerful singing voice had enraptured the crowd for most of the first act. Now he was literally in their laps singing of his character's concerns regarding impeding fatherhood. The moment has them sharing his outpouring of emotion.
