Target Margin Theater presents the world premiere of Marjana and the Forty Thieves, which delves into a new section of The One Thousand and One Nights: the tale of Ali Baba. Directed by Founding Artistic Director David Herskovits, Marjana and the Forty Thieves is scheduled to run at Target Margin Theater's THE DOXSEE (232 52nd Street, Brooklyn) from March 28 through April 20, with an opening night of April 1.

Producers Suzanne Gilad & Larry Rogowsky are pleased to announce that Jane Bruce (Jagged Little Pill) and Cathryn Wake (Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812) will join the cast of the critically-acclaimed musical comedy THE OTHER JOSH COHEN now playing at the Westside Theatre (407 W 43rd St). Jane joins the cast tonight, Tuesday, January 29, taking over the roles played by original cast member Kate Wetherhead. Cathryn begins performances on Tuesday, February 5, taking over for Hannah Elless who departs the production on February 3. Megan Loomis (The Dead 1904) joins the cast as the female standby.

Steve Rosen and David Rossmer's pop rock musical charmer THE OTHER JOSH COHEN has been hitting the regional circuit a bit since its 2012 Off-Broadway production that picked up Drama Desk, Lortel and Off-Broadway Alliance Award Nominations for Best Musical.  It's great to have this very funny, very tuneful and very uplifting show back in town.

After a live performance on FOX 5's Good Day New York, the company held a plaid-clad meet & greet at the rehearsal studio. Buran Theatre's inaugural CartHorse Fellow Cara Scarmack will see her play some higher glimmer in the landscape of flat premiere as a culmination of the fellowship. Under the direction of Sarah Hughes, the immersive and genre-defying work-straddling theatre, dance and music-will see a three-week run at The Collapsable Hole in the West Village from October 20-November 3.

The complete cast of the critically-acclaimed musical comedy THE OTHER JOSH COHEN, opening Off-Broadway this fall at the Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street) has just been announced. Joining Drama Desk nominees Steve Rosen and David Rossmer - the show's creators, who will co-star in the title roles - are Drama Desk nominee Kate Wetherhead (Legally Blonde), Hannah Elless (Bright Star), Elizabeth Nestlerode (Once Tour), Luke Darnell(Million Dollar Quartet Vegas) and Louis Tucci (Buddy); Zachary Spound (Cruel Intentions: The Musical) will serve as swing.
