For their 30th album release, SimG Records have announced their new concept album Ms. A Song Cycle, created in aid of MS Society UK. The aim is to increase awareness and raise funds for this brilliant charity and worthwhile cause.

Preeya Kalidas (Bend It Like Beckham), Rosemary Ashe (Witches of Eastwick), Anna Francolini (Wonder.Land), Siubhan Harrison (Guys & Dolls) & Danielle Hope (BBC's Over the Rainbow) are set to join the line-up of previously announced actresses that lend their voices to 'Ms.' A Song Cycle.

'Ms.' is a brand new album of fourteen musical theatre songs inspired by women living with Multiple Sclerosis. Each song has been written by a different composer for a different West End actress.

Last night (23 February 2016) at the Aldwych Theatre the Olivier, Tony and Grammy award-winning Beautiful - The Carole King Musical celebrated its first birthday in the West End.  Celebrations included marking the February birthdays of Carole King, Barry Mann and the late Gerry Goffin, as well as the 45th anniversary of when King's Grammy- award winning album Tapestry was released.  Check out the pics of the bash below!

Today, Monday 21 December 2015, the Producers of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child are delighted to announce that Jamie Parker, Noma Dumezweni and Paul Thornley will lead the cast as Harry, Hermione and Ron, which we previously announced here.  

Olivier Award-winning composer George Stiles has joined the line-up for 'Ms.', a Musical Song Cycle Album, inspired by women living with Multiple Sclerosis. 

It's been 30 years since Claude-Michel Schönberg &Alain Boublil's phenomenon of a musical opened in London. LES MISERABLES originally opened in London at the Barbican Theatre on October 8, 1985. It transferred to the Palace Theatre on 4 December 1985 where it ran for 19 years before moving to its current home at the Queen's Theatre on 3 April 2004 where it has already played for 11 years and looks set to at least equal the run at the Palace Theatre as it is still playing to standing room only. When Les Miserables celebrated its 21st London birthday on 8 October 2006, it became the World's Longest Running Musical, surpassing the record previously held by Cats in London's West End.

The National Theatre's production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time has welcomed a new cast to the West End production, and last night (30 June 2015) held a special gala performance with celebrity V.I.P. guests at the Gielgud Theatre.  Last month the play was one of the big winners at the Tony Awards® in New York, winning 5 awards including Best New Play. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time recently extended booking in London, releasing over 120,000 tickets and is now booking until 13 February 2016.

Richard Bean's new play Great Britain opened in the West End on September 26,following a sell-out run at the National Theatre. With a cast led by Lucy Punch andRobert Glenister, Nicholas Hytner's production now continues at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in a strictly limited season to 10 January 2015. Richard Bean's new play Great Britain opened in the West End last night (26 September 2014) following a sell-out run at the National Theatre.

This year's final West End Eurovision (WEE) controversially ended in a tie - with two West End shows sharing the ultimate honours for the first time in WEE history. The celebrity-studded event returned to the Dominion Theatre for its 7th and final year in support of The Make A Difference (MAD) Trust. Scroll down for photos!

Joining the previously announced West End Eurovision competitors: Once, The Commitments, The Bodyguard the Musical, Mamma Mia!, Billy Elliot the Musical, Les Miserables, Wicked, The Book of Mormon, The Phantom of the Opera and with the show opened by We Will Rock You, The Make A Difference Trust have confirmed the West End Eurovision celebrity judging panel: X factor favourite Rylan Clark, TV and Radio personality Graham Norton, much loved comedy actress Caroline Quentin and Birds of a feathers resident man eater Leslie Joseph.

Neil Morrissey will join the cast of RELATIVE VALUES, at the Harold Pinter Theatre, from Monday 26th May until Saturday 21st June, taking over the role of Crestwell from Rory Bremner, whose 10 week run ends on Saturday 24th May.

Contemporary classical music rubs shoulders with dubstep, jazz and Persian mugham. Musical theatre songs are juggled with polyphonic singing, and both physical theatre and actor musicianship are centre stage. Young talented composers, directors and writers stand alongside icons of the theatre.
