Renowned director Derek Charles Livingston and musical director Richard Berent bring Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler's musical thriller SWEENEY TODD: THE DEMON BARBER OF FLEET STREET to The Production Company's Chandler Studio Theatre in a re-imagining of sheer theatrical lightning beginning September 18th, 2009. John Dossett and Tony Award winner Beth Leavel will be joining the cast of the Broadway production of MAMMA MIA!, playing at the Winter Garden Theatre since 2001. Leavel will play Donna Sheridan, while Dossett will star opposite her as Sam Carmichael. The two take over the roles starting September 22.

Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus' global smash hit musical MAMMA MIA! officially became the 15th longest-running show in Broadway history on Saturday, June 27th when it played its 3,183 performance, surpassing the record previously held by the play Tobacco Road.

Reprise Theatre Company presents Brian Stokes Mitchell Sings Broadway, a program especially created for Reprise. It will have one performance only on Monday, May 11 at 8 pm, at UCLA's Freud Playhouse.

According to producer Randall L. Wreghitt, the musical is in the process of securing the remainder of its financing and casting, and plans to open in early 2010.
