On last night's LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT, Jennifer Hudson and the cast of Broadway's THE COLOR PURPLE performed the number 'Push Da Button'.

Today, Brooks speaks exclusively with BWW and explains why making her Broadway debut in this musical revival is truly a 'full-circle moment.'

CBS has announced that on Monday, Dec. 7th,  Jennifer Hudson will appear on LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT for an interview and a performance from the Broadway production of THE COLOR PURPLE.

On this morning's GMA, THE COLOR PURPLE's Jennifer Hudson and Cynthia Erivo took to the stage with a powerful performance of the title song. Later, the actors discuss the stage adaptation of the classsic novel.

The Color Purple just began preview performances last night, November 10, at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 West 45th street). Grammy, Academy Award, and Golden Globe award winner JENNIFER HUDSON makes her Broadway debut opposite CYNTHIA ERIVO, the breakout star of John Doyle's acclaimed Menier Chocolate Factory production, and Orange is the New Black's DANIELLE BROOKS, in this fall's highly anticipated production. THE COLOR PURPLE producer Oprah stopped by a recent rehearsal for the show's upcoming Broadway run and joined in on a song after hugging some of the cast members, among them Danille Brooks, Jennifer Hudson and Cynthia Erivo. Check out a clip from the surprise visit below!

Producers Scott Sanders Productions, Roy Furman, Oprah Winfrey, David Babani, and Tom Siracusa just announced complete casting for this fall's highly anticipated production of THE COLOR PURPLE, directed by Tony Award winner John Doyle.

Lauren Marcus, recently seen in Two River Theater's world premiere production of Be More Chill, takes over the role of Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors at Sharon Playhouse. Anneliese van der Pol was unable to continue with the production due to a family emergency.  Check out a first look at the cast in action below!

Little Shop of Horrors runs tonight, August 13, through August 30 at Sharon Playhouse.
