BWW is thrilled to bring its readers photos of the opening night performance of Million Dollar Quartet, currently playing at The Toronto Centre for the Arts. We were also on hand for the special press event they held earlier that day at the TCA, where they gave members of Toronto's press a performance and posed for photographs. The show plays until July 29th, 2012.

Inspired by the electrifying true story, the national tour of the Broadway musical MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET will make its Toronto premiere on Thursday, July 12 at Toronto Centre for the Arts.

Million Dollar Quartet, about to enter its fifth year in Chicago, continues performances through January 6, 2013 with cast members Brandon Bennett (Elvis Presley), Shaun Whitley (Carl Perkins), Lance Lipinsky (Jerry Lee Lewis), Sean Sullivan (Johnny Cash), Tim Decker (Sam Phillips), Johanna McKenzie Miller (Dyanne), Brad Ber (Jay Perkins/Bass player) andDan Leali (Fluke/Drummer). The Tony-nominated musical inspired by the famed 1956 recording session that brought together legendary rock 'n' roll icons Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley, celebrates its long run in Chicago, a multiple Tony-nominated New York run, a long-running London production and a national tour that kicked-off in October 2011.

Chris Isaak put out his first album, Silvertone, in 1985 and has since released 14 records, including his breakthrough 1989 triple platinum record Heart Shaped World.

Broadway In Chicago's Concert moves to Millennium Park this summer. The FREE BROADWAY IN CHICAGO CONCERT will take place on Monday, August 6, 2012 at 6:15 p.m. at the Pritzker Pavilion at Millennium Park. An open casting call will be held in AUSTIN, TX - today, June 27 (11 AM - 3 PM) at the Long Center for the Performing Arts (701 West Riverside Drive).

Next week, the Pantages Theatre will be hosting the L.A. Premiere of Million Dollar Quartet. Million Dollar Quartet is set on December 4, 1956, when an auspicious twist of fate brought Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley together. Sam Phillips, the "Father of Rock 'n' Roll" who was responsible for launching the careers of each icon, brought the four legendary musicians together at the Sun Records storefront studio in Memphis for the first and only time. The resulting evening became known as one of the greatest rock 'n' roll jam sessions in history.
