Currently running at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, THE HOMECOMING tells the story of Teddy, who has been living in America for the past six years, away from the all-male household of his father, uncle and brothers. When he returns unexpectedly to the family's North London home, accompanied by his wife, Ruth, the ensuing struggle for power leads to a shocking conclusion.

The first winners of the Toronto Theatre Critics' Awards - decided by John Coulbourn (the Toronto Sun), Richard Ouzounian (the Toronto Star), Robert Cushman (the National Post), and Kelly Nestruck (the Globe and Mail) - were announced today. Among the winners were Tony Sheldon, now Tony-nominated for PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT, and SOUTH PACIFIC, which was produced by Lincoln Center Theatre.

Stratford Shakespeare Festival Announces Additional Casting in Plummer, Kennedy & Therriault Led 2010 Productions

Toronto's The Stratford Shakespeare Festival has revealed revealed additional casting for its 2010 season. The stars include Christopher Plummer, Chilina Kennedy, Juan Chioran, Michael Therriault and Geraint Wyn Davies for the Festival's productions of The Tempest, Evita, Kiss Me Kate, Peter Pan and Do Not Go Gentle. Nikki M. James, who was previously set to star alongside Plummer has withdrawn from the festival due to 'personal reasons.'
