Broadway stars Tony Vincent (American Idiot, NBC's 'The Voice'), Nick Adams (Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Guys and Dolls), BDF Artistic Director Nicholas Rodriguez (Tarzan, 'One Life to Live') and Tony Award nominated director and choreographer Dan Knechtges (Xanadu, Spelling Bee) will turn Charlotte's youth performers into triple threat talents when The Broadway Dreams Foundation presents a unique two-day workshop today, February 15 and the 16th, 2013.

BDF's Triple Threat Extreme Workshop will be held at Blumenthal Performing Arts Center (Spirit Square 345 N. College Street, Charlotte, NC) from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday and at Children's Theatre: ImaginOn Rehearsal Studio (300 E. 7th Street, Charlotte, NC) on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Bring It On: The Musical will play the final performance of its limited engagement today, December 30, 2012, after 21 previews and 173 regular performances at Broadway's St. James Theatre. The festive old-fashioned piano party and cabaret featured performances by Broadway's brightest stars and talented local BDF students. Each year hundreds of students received valuable musical theatre training through BDF programs offered in partnership with Philadelphia's Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. Universal Pictures Stage Productions/Glenn Ross, Beacon Communications/Armyan Bernstein & Charlie Lyons and Executive Producers Kristin Caskey and Mike Isaacson are pleased to announce the release of the Original Broadway Cast Recording of Bring It On: The Musical. The album, produced by Ghostlight Records and available on Back Lot Music, will be released for digital download on iTunes beginning September 25, 2012 and in stores October 16, 2012. The cast of Bring It On recorded the album at MSR Studios in New York City on August 9, 10 and 16, 2012 under the direction of Album Producers Alex Lacamoire, Tom Kitt and Kurt Deutsch.
