The Drama League has announced the 2015 Drama League Awards Nominees this morning - check out the complete list!

The new Broadway musical AN AMERICAN IN PARIS opens on Broadway this Sunday, April 12, 2015 at the Palace Theatre (Broadway at 47th Street). The production began previews on Friday, March 13, 2015.

MASTERWORKS BROADWAY announces the signing of the Original Broadway Cast Recording of An American in Paris.Produced by Rob Fisher and Scott Lehrer, the album will be recorded on April 20 in anticipation of a June 2 release.

The Off-Broadway League today announced nominations in 18 categories for the 30th Annual Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway. The Lortel Awards will be handed out on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at NYU Skirball Center beginning at 7:00 PM EST, and hosted by Emmy-nominated actors Anna Chlumsky (“Veep,” Broadway's Living on Love) and Jesse Tyler Ferguson (“Modern Family,” this summer's The Tempest). This year's event will once again benefit The Actors Fund.

The producers of Nevermore - The Imaginary Life and Mysterious Death of Edgar Allan Poe announced today that an Original Off-Broadway Cast Album will be released on Broadway Records in June 2015. The CD is available now for pre-order at www.broadwayrecords.com and will be released in stores, through internet-based retailers, and on iTunes on June 16, 2015.

Rodgers + Hammerstein's CINDERELLA, the 2013 Tony Award winning Broadway musical from the creators of South Pacific and The Sound of Music, is the first MSU Federal Credit Union Broadway at Wharton Center show of the 2015-2016 season. The show opens September 22-27, 2015.

NEVERMORE - The Imaginary Life and Mysterious Death of Edgar Allan Poe, a unique theatrical experience illuminating the haunting life story of iconic writer Edgar Allan Poe, will play its final Off-Broadway performance on Sunday, March 29 at 3:00 pm at New World Stages.

Producers Tom Kirdahy, Roy Furman, and Ken Davenport announced today that Tony Award winner Nathan Lane will return to the Broadway's biggest hit comedy It's Only a Play in the role of James Wicker on March 31, 2015 and will continue with the production through its scheduled closing date of June 7, 2015. Lane departed It's Only A Play on January 4, 2015 due to a previously scheduled commitment with the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) staging of The Iceman Cometh.

Three-time Academy Award nominee Bradley Cooper, Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Patricia Clarkson and Alessandro Nivola will play their final Broadway performance in Bernard Pomerance's Tony Award-winning classic The Elephant Man on Saturday, February 21 after 35 previews and 83 regular performances. Directed by 6-time Tony Award nominee Scott Ellis, the production began performances on November 7, 2014 and officially opened on December 7, 2014 at Broadway's Booth Theatre (222 West 45th Street, NYC). The Elephant Man begins a 12 week limited engagement at London's Theatre Royal Haymarket on May 19, 2015 for a limited engagement through August 8, 2015.

Beginning today, February 19, all Thursday evening performances will be 'Goth and Steampunk' inspired, with all audience members dressed in Goth or Steampunk attire receiving a free drink voucher. Just be sure to remove your Top Hat before the show begins!

You Can't Take It With You, the Pulitzer Prize-winning revival by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman, is set to play its final performances this week. The show will play its final performance on Sunday, February 22nd at 3 pm. It will have played 208 performances.

Following an acclaimed tryout at Theatre du Chatelet in Paris, An American In Paris begins final rehearsals for Broadway on Monday, February 9. Previews begin Friday, March 13, 2015 for a Sunday, April 12, 2015 opening night.

Producers Tom Kirdahy, Roy Furman, and Ken Davenport announced today that the smash hit Broadway comedy It's Only a Play, which opened on Broadway on October 9, 2014, has extended its run through Sunday, June 7, 2015. Originally announced as a limited engagement through January 4th, It's Only a Play was recently extended through March 29th at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 West 45th Street), where it will now play through June 7th. Tickets are now on sale for all performances.
