The New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC) and playwright Harrie Dobby are pleased to present the world premiere of THE GAP, directed by Jamie Biddle. Rivendell Theatre Ensemble (RTE), Chicago's only Equity theatre dedicated to producing new work with women at the core, announces the third production of its 20th Anniversary Season, the Chicago premiere of How the World Began, written by Catherine Trieschmann and directed by Keira Fromm. The production runs September 2-October 10, 2015, at Rivendell Theatre Ensemble, 5779 N. Ridge Avenue in Chicago. The press opening is Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at 7:00pm.

Velocity is thrilled to bring the encore performance of Peggy Piacenza's Touch Me Here, a multi-disciplinary movement memoir created and performed by Piacenza, with an original live score by cellist Scott Bell.

Today it is officially announced that Sian Alexander has been appointed the new Executive Director of the Lyric Hammersmith. She will officially take up the role from 5 October 2015. She succeeds Jessica Hepburn who is leaving the Lyric after nearly a decade as Executive Director to focus on her writing career and who, as her last act for the Lyric is swimming the English Channel to raise money for the theatre's work with disadvantaged children.

The cast for the world premiere production of F*CK THE POLAR BEARS by Tanya Ronder is: Jon Foster, Salome R Gunnarsdottir, Susan Stanley and Andrew Whipp. The production, directed by Caroline Byrne, previews from 11 September (press night 16 September).

Ria Parry will direct Patti Love in the title role of Rebecca Lenkiewicz's Jane Wenham: The Witch of Walkern. The world premiere production, from Out of Joint, Watford Palace Theatre and Arcola Theatre in association with Eastern Angles, will tour the UK from September 2015 to January 2016.

David Fielder and Nigel Hastings will star in the first show in Theatre503's autumn season, And Then Come The Nightjars by Bea Roberts.

Up in Arms and Arcola Theatre today announce the full cast for the world premiere of Barney Norris's new play, Eventide. Alice Hamilton directsHasan Dixon (Mark), James Doherty (John) and Ellie Piercy (Liz). The production opens on 25 September at Arcola Theatre, with previews from 23 September, and runs until 17 October, ahead of a national tour to Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds, The North Wall, Salisbury Playhouse and The Brewery, Bristol Tobacco Factory.

No More Worries combines theatre and spoken word with an original soundtrack and follows a mismatched duo on a road-trip around austerity Britain. It makes its London premiere at the Albany this autumn.

Evie Hone and Lizzie Wells will join Anna-Louise Knight and Lara McDonnell in the title role of the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical from Tuesday 15 September 2015. In a new production commissioned by the Finborough Theatre and originally seen as a staged reading as part of Vibrant -- A Festival of Finborough Playwrights 2013, the world premiere of We Know Where You Live  by Steven Hevey, the award-winning Playwright-on-Attachment at the Finborough Theatre, runs at the Finborough Theatre, playing nine Sunday and Monday evenings from Sunday, 2nd August 2015 (Press Night: Monday, 3rd August 2015 at 7.30pm).

Theatre Royal Stratford East is to stage a new site-specific play written by local emerging East London playwright Lynette Linton. Chicken Palace is a fresh, funny and fast-paced one act thriller, which explores perceptions, stereotypes and post-traumatic stress disorder, whilst putting audiences in the middle of the action.

In February of this year three regular school girls left Bethnal Green Academy to travel to Syria and join ISIS.
