Goodspeed Musicals, the only two time Tony Award winning theatre in the country, is proud to announce the cast of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. This hilarious musical comedy of errors from the director who brought you Goodspeed's On the Twentieth Century and Promises, Promises will run from Sept. 25 - Nov. 29 at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, Conn. Last week, the Broadway community mourned the loss of multiple Tony Award-winning librettist, screenwriter and author Larry Gelbart, who died at his home in Beverly Hills on September 11 at the age of 81. This week, Mike Sacks of Vanity Fair released an except from one of the last interviews ever conducted with the legend for Sacks' book: 'And Here's the Kicker: Conversations with 21 Humor Writers on Their Craft' (Writers Digest Books).

Composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim, widely considered the most influential artist working in American musical theater over the past half-century, will visit Indiana University in April at the invitation of IU's Department of Theatre and Drama.

Three classic shows from some of Broadway's most legendary creators will comprise Reprise Theatre Company's 2010 season. For his second season, Artistic Director Jason Alexander has chosen 'Carousel,' 'A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum,' and 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying' at UCLA's Freud Playhouse.
