Tonight, February 15 (7PM), the Broadway at Birdland concert series presents the award-winning cast of the 2012 world premiere production of NUTTY PROFESSOR, THE MUSICAL.

Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestras begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. On February 15 (7PM), The Broadway at Birdland concert series will present the award-winning cast of the 2012 world premiere production of Nutty Professor, the musical written by Rupert Holmes and the late, great Marvin Hamlisch. Julius Kelp, the social-misfit egghead college Professor, becomes committed to changing himself for the better after meeting progressive and idealistic transfer student Stella Purdy. He concocts a potion that transforms him into crooner, the suave and slick Buddy Love. His radical solution for a personal upgrade works, but not as he predicted. Nutty Professor has a book and lyrics by Tony winner Rupert Holmes and music by the late Tony winner Marvin Hamlisch, who died unexpectedly during the world premiere Nashville run.

Birdland Jazz Club has announced its lineup for February 15-21, including the John Pizzarelli Quartet, The Nutty Professor Reunion Concert, Marcus Elliott Quartet, and more. Scroll down for details!

Following multiple sold out engagements, Charlie Rosen's Broadway Big Band returns to the intimate Manhattan venue Feinstein's/ 54 Below on Saturday February 20th to continue an official residence for 2015. The 9:30 PM concert, helmed by director Max Friedman, features guest vocalists Gerard Canonico (Spring Awakening, American Idiot), Nicholas Christopher (Motown The Musical, Lazarus), Matt Doyle (The Book of Mormon, Spring Awakening), Tony Award Nominee Bryce Pinkham (Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, The Heidi Chronicles), Alysha Umphress (On The Town, American Idiot), and more TBA. Friedman and Rosen co-produce the series.

Fashion Designer Malan Breton takes home the prestigious Men's Wear Award for Malan Breton HOMME's - Malan Breton.  Breton states, “I am honored and elated to win this award.  I was amongst some strong colleagues and truly respect their work so was surprised when I won.”   This is an amazing acknowledgment to have in my career, I am overwhelmed at this incredible win,” says the designer.

Birdland Jazz Club has announced its February 2016 lineup, featuring Jane Monheit, Monterey Jazz Allstars, Nicolas King, The Birdland Big Band, Showbiz After Hours with Frank DiLella, John Pizzarelli Quartet, Birdland Jazz Party, Jim Caruso's Cast Party, and more. Scroll down for details!

The Vineyard Theatre today announced that their 2016 Gala will honor Vineyard Board President and award-winning actress Kathleen Chalfant and New York theatrical press agent Sam Rudy. The annual Gala Fundraiser will take place on Monday, March 14, 2016, beginning at 6:30pm, at Edison Ballroom (240 West 47th Street between Broadway and Eighth Avenue).

The original stars of the Tony-winning Broadway production of "A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder" reunite for a special cabaret evening in Hempstead House, hosted by composer Steven Lutvak.

Television and Broadway's Biggest Stars will be featured at Zara Aina's star-studded 3rd Annual Big Ol' Fancy Pants Benefit on Monday, December 21, 2015. The organization, founded by Broadway actors Bryce Pinkham (The Heidi Chronicles) and Lucas Caleb Rooney (The Country Girl) helps at-risk children in Madagascar expand their capacity for achievement through theatrical performance and storytelling.

Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) will celebrate its 24th year as a not-for-profit service organization with its annual gala, the TRU Love Benefit. This year's theme is Making Our Gardens Grow, and a stellar lineup of Broadway stars has joined the cast: Bryce Pinkham (The Heidi Chronicles, Tony nominee for A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder), Tony Award Winner and Grammy Nominee Milly Shapiro (Matilda), and more.

Deadline reports that Elisabeth Moss, who recently received a Tony nomination for her starring role in Broadway's THE HEIDI CHORNICLES, has signed on to the cast of THE BLEEDER.
