Jesse Cook Adds More Shows To His 'Follow The Road' Tour

Jesse Cook-the internationally acclaimed guitarist, composer and producer-has announced his fall tour will extend through January 2020 with the addition of 15 shows including stops in Nashville, TN, Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC, and Orlando, FL, in addition to others. Cook is about to follow the road across America as his now 48-date 'Follow The Road' U.S. tour kicks off tonight in Pittsburgh, PA at the Byham Theatre. The headlining trek will take Cook and his vibrant band across the country with stops in Cleveland, OH, Boston, MA, Philadelphia, PA, New York, NY, Denver, CO, San Diego, CA, Las Vegas, NV, Los Angeles, CA and Sacramento, CA, among many others. Broward Center And Parker Playhouse Announce New Shows

The Broward Center for the Performing Arts and Parker Playhouse have added celebrity housewives, Grammy Award winners, platinum-selling chart-toppers and Santa himself to their schedules. 

Funding Arts Broward Fall Luncheon To Feature Special Guest Martin Childers

a??a??a??a??a??a??a??Funding Arts Broward (FAB!), a nonprofit volunteer-based arts organization committed to supporting, sustaining and enriching the arts in Broward County, will present its Fall Luncheon on Tuesday, October 15, from 11:30 a.m. a?" 1:30 p.m., at Broward Center for the Performing Arts' Mary N. Porter Riverview Ballroom. The arts celebration will feature special guest speaker Martin Childers, managing director of Island City Stage, an organization creating quality theatrical experiences that focus on the LGBTQ community, but have a heart and soul that is truly universal. Live entertainment will be courtesy of the company's talented performers.

Seth Rudetsky Broadway Concert Series Returns To Parker Playhouse For A New Season

The Seth Rudetsky Broadway Concert Series presented by Mark Cortale returns to Parker Playhouse in 2020. The series, co-presented by the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, delivers three intimate evenings of incredible music and hilarious conversations hosted and music directed by the Sirius XM Radio star, whom the New York Times dubbed a?oeThe Mayor of Broadway.a?? The series features three Tony Award winners and critically-acclaimed powerhouse talents: Kelli O'Hara (The King & I) on January 3, Stephanie J. Block (The Cher Show) February 22 and Santino Fontana (Tootsie) on April 3.

Broward Center Announces Fall Slate Of Sensory-Friendly Shows

BWW Review: BRONX TALE at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts Has Heart!

Set on the stoops of the Bronx in the socially turbulent 1960s a young man, Calogero, is caught between the father he loves and the mob boss he would love to be. As he grows into a teenager on the streets of the Bronx, Calogero "C" gets taken under the wing of neighborhood mobster Sonny. Despite the warning from his straight-arrow bus driver father, Lorenzo, Sonny initiates the boy into the ways of gang life after "C" covers up a murder for Sonny. The story gets kicked up a notch when "C" falls for his African-American classmate, Jane, and the repercussions threaten the entire neighborhood. Featuring an original doo-wop score, this is a tale about respect, loyalty, love, and above all else: family.
