Seth Rudetsky is set to welcome Mary Catherine Garrison and Jay Klaitz, current stars of the Broadway revival LEND ME A TENOR, on the April 15th edition of Seth's Broadway Chatterbox.

CATS, one of the longest running and most successful musicals in Broadway history, returns to Hennepin Theatre Trust's Orpheum Theatre in downtown Minneapolis for five performances only, May 14-16, 2010.

The Tony Award-winning revival of HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical has its official Opening Night at Gielgud Theatre in London's West End tonight, Wednesday, April 14th.

The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center announces its biggest season to date, unveiling the 2010/11 Season line-up including the Wisconsin premiere of the smash-hit musical Jersey Boys, a return engagement of WICKED and an impressive Boldt Arts Alive! Series with performances including the circus arts phenomenon Cirque Dreams Illumination.

On March 16, it was announced that two promient theater producers, one from London's famed Royal Court Theatre and one from Broadway and Broadway Across America have been named to new leadership posts at American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) by Artistic Director/CEO Diane Paulus. Last fall, Paulus created two new senior level positions; named to the new posts are Diane Borger as Producer and Tiffani Gavin as Director of Finance and Administration.

The visual arts as a form of adolescent expression will be on display April 20-25, 2010 at the the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in Appleton, WI. As part of a program that promotes self-esteem in young women, the organization, Project Girl, is using LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL as a vehicle for self-discovery. Together, Project Girl and The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center are recognizing LEGALLY BLONDE'S leading lady, Elle Woods, as a potential case study for girls. The two organization have formed a collaborative effort to raise awareness about the negative effects of media messaging on the self-esteem and body image of young women. Materials for the program were used from Project Girl, and were facilitated by women leaders from the Fox Cities. The participants include 20 adolescent girls who range in age from 10-15, along with their mentors from Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Fox Valley Region.

August: Osage County, the 2008 Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning play that tells the bitingly funny and sensationally entertaining tale of the Weston family of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, is coming to Boston's Colonial Theatre May 4 - 16 for two weeks only.

Everyone's favorite nanny Mary Poppins is in town for a limited three week engagement. Produced by Cameron MackIntosh and Disney Theatrical Productions and part of the Broadway Across America series, Mary Poppins is in Cincinnati now through April 25th and it's sure to be a fun-filled family theater event.

THE FIRST NATIONAL TOUR OF LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL will begin performances in Milwaukee on April 13-18, 2010 presented by Broadway Across America-Milwaukee and the Marcus Center as part of the Time Warner Cable Broadway at the Marcus Center Series. Tickets will go on sale at NOON on December 13.

Avenue Q, the Tony Award-winning Best Musical about real life in New York City as told by a cast of people and puppets, returns to Minneapolis to play Hennepin Theatre Trust's Orpheum Theatre, April 13-18, 2010.

Three Rivers Arts Festival, a division of The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, proudly announces the headline music schedule for the 2010 Festival, June 4-13. All headline concerts are presented on the Dollar Bank Stage at Point State Park in downtown Pittsburgh. The free live music series, a Pittsburgh tradition, is sponsored by Dollar Bank.

Producer John Breglio and Broadway Across America-Seattle will end the Seattle stint of DREAMGIRLS on April 11th.

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, the new musical inspired by the famed 1956 recording session that brought together four of the most legendary figures in the history of rock 'n' roll - Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, and Elvis Presley - will open on Sunday, April 11, 2010 at Broadway's Nederlander Theatre. Previews will begin March 13, 2010.

Chuck Mead, musical arranger for the upcoming Broadway production of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET said he had some apprehension about maintaining the rock authenticity in a big rock show on Broadway . However, Mead believes the Great White Way is ready for some authentic rock 'n' roll.
