Just in time to cheer up the holiday season and to welcome the New Year, producers Whoopi Goldberg, Stage Entertainment and Troika Entertainment announce casting for the North American Tour of five-time Tony Award® nominated musical SISTER ACT. SISTER ACT will play the Broward Center for the Performing Arts December 18 - 30 as part of the Bank of America Broadway in Fort Lauderdale subscription series.

The new musical CHAPLIN, with music and lyrics by Christopher Curtis and book by three-time Tony Award-winner Thomas Meehan (Annie, The Producers, Hairspray) and Christopher Curtis, directed and choreographed by Warren Carlyle (Finian's Rainbow; Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway), celebrates its 100th performance on Broadway at the Barrymore Theatre tonight, Thursday, December 6 at 7:00PM.

Producers have announced that THE ANARCHIST, the new play written and directed by DAVID MAMET, which began previews at the newly refurbished Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street) on Tuesday, November 13, 2012, and opened on Sunday, December 2, 2012, will give its final performance on Sunday, December 16, 2012, at 3:00pm. Upon closing, the production will have played 23 previews and 17 performances.

Hennepin Theatre Trust announced today that individual tickets for Flashdance-The Musical and Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins, both running in Minneapolis in April, will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 7, 2012. At that time, tickets will be sold online through HennepinTheatreTrust.org, in person at the State Theatre Box Office or by calling 1.800.982.2787 or visiting a Ticketmaster Ticket Center. Flashdance-The Musical, the stage adaptation of the 1983 hit film that defined a generation, will debut in Minnesota April 2-7, 2013. Mary Poppins, combining the original stories of P.L. Travers with beloved songs from the 1964 Walt Disney film, returns as a special addition to the season April 23-28, 2013. Both shows will play the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis and are presented by Hennepin Theatre Trust as part of their 2012/13 Broadway Across America-Minneapolis Season.

MEMPHIS, the 2010 Tony Award Winner for Best Musical, comes to the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) tonight, December 4 through Sunday, December 9, 2012 for a limited engagement.

Audiences are invited to discover the magic of the two-time Emmy Award winning and two-time Tony Award nominated production: Cathy Rigby is PETER PAN! Families and fans have their chance to 'fly' into the Majestic Theatre for this magical production for eight performances tonight, December 4-9.

SISTER ACT, the family friendly, over the top spectacle with nuns that rock, opens at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts on February 19-24, 2013 for a limited engagement.

Broadway's biggest blockbuster, WICKED, will return to the Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre February 20 - March 10, 2013. Tickets for the return engagement go on sale today, November 30 at 10 a.m.

The producers of the new Broadway musical CHAPLIN have just announced that AWA Partners (www.AWA-Partners.com) is putting together a US national tour that will launch in the fall of 2014, with plans for an international world tour to follow.
