The national tour of SISTER ACT is coming to the Benedum Center in Pittsburgh, PA from tonight, February 5-10, 2013.

Based on the hit DreamWorks film and the incredible true story that inspired it, the first national tour of the high-flying Broadway musical CATCH ME IF YOU CAN will land in Houston at the Hobby Center for a limited engagement tonight, February 5 - 10.

THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, debuts in Minnesota tonight, February 5-17, 2013 at Hennepin Theatre Trust's Orpheum Theatre for a limited engagement.

The National Theatre of Great Britain's epic War Horse, winner of five 2011 Tony Awards, will make its premiere at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center June 25-30.

The 2013/2014 National Tour of the new musical THE ADDAMS FAMILY, based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams, will make its San Antonio premiere for eight performances, May 7-12 at the Majestic Theatre as part of the Cadillac Broadway in San Antonio series. MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET moves into the Harrah's Showroom tonight, February 4.

The 2013 national tour of the new musical The Addams Family, based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams, will play the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center February 26 - March 3, 2013 as part of the Kimberly-Clark Broadway Across America - Fox Cities Series.

After record breaking runs in 2006, 2008 and 2011 WICKED will return to Ft. Lauderdale this month for a limited 3-week engagement.

Direct from Broadway, SISTER ACT, the hilarious, five-time Tony-nominated musical smash, is coming to Houston. SISTER ACT opens at the Hobby Center on May 28 and runs through June 2. Tickets go on sale to the public Sunday, January 27.

A day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of orchestra seats will be held for WICKED, which is returning to Broward Center for the Performing Arts with performances from January 30th to February 17th. Two and one-half hours prior to each performance, people who present themselves at the Broward Center box office will have their names placed in a lottery drum; thirty minutes later, names will be drawn for a limited number of orchestra seats at $25 each, cash only. This lottery is available only in-person at the box office, with a limit of two tickets per person. Lottery participants must have a valid photo ID when submitting their entry form and, if chosen, when purchasing tickets.

Broadway in New Orleans announces tickets will go on sale Friday, Jan. 25 at 11 a.m. for the national tour of the Broadway musical MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, inspired by an electrifying true story. MEMPHIS, the 2010 Tony Award Winner for Best Musical, opens at Bass Performance Hall on Feb. 12 for a limited, eight-performance engagement through Feb. 17.

FAIRWINDS Broadway Across America - Orlando announces the First National Tour of THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, will headline the FAIRWINDS Broadway Across America - Orlando 2013-2014 season. FAIRWINDS Broadway Across America - Orlando season ticket holders will have the first chance to purchase tickets to THE BOOK OF MORMON on Tuesday, February 12 as part of their subscription package. The full schedule for the 2013-2014 season will be announced on February 11.

Producers Broadway Across America - Beth Williams, Howard & Janet Kagan and Barry Brown just announced casting for the world premiere production of the new musical TUCK EVERLASTING at Boston's Citi Performing Arts Center Emerson Colonial Theatre (106 Boylston Street) from July 28-August 18, 2013. The pre-Broadway production will feature (in alphabetical order): Fred Applegate (Sister Act) as 'Constable Joe,' Marylouise Burke (Fuddy Meers) as 'Nana,' Tony Award nominee Carolee Carmello (Scandalous) as 'Ma Tuck,' David Garrison (Titanic) as 'The Man In The Yellow Suit,' Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Newsies) as 'Jesse Tuck,' Daytime Emmy Award Winner Michael Park (How To Succeed…) as 'Pa Tuck,' Michael Wartella (The Kid) as 'Hugo,' and Valerie Wright (Elf) as 'Mother,' and will introduce Sadie Sink in the role of 'Winnie.'

Broadway Across America-Houston is about to fly CATCH ME IF YOU CAN, the thrilling tale of Frank Abagnale, Jr., into the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts. Merritt David Janes is starring as Carl Hanratty, the FBI agent that tirelessly pursued Frank Abagnale, Jr .He was wanted for posing as a Pan American World Airways pilot, a Georgia doctor, a Louisiana parish prosecutor, and check fraud, which was his primary crime. Merritt David Janes took time out of his busy schedule to talk to me about his career, playing Carl Hanratty, touring, and the show CATCH ME IF YOU CAN.

A total of 35 established and emerging writers, composers and lyricists will converge on the Goodspeed campus this month to participate in the first-ever Johnny Mercer Writers Colony at Goodspeed Musicals. The writing teams, representing more than twenty new musicals, will populate the campus, creating a truly exciting environment for discovery and inspiration.

BIG FISH, a new musical based on the novel by Daniel Wallace and the 2003 Columbia Pictures film written by John August, will open Sunday, October 6, 2013, at Broadway's Neil Simon Theatre (250 West 52nd Street). Directed and choreographed by five-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman (Contact, The Producers, The Scottsboro Boys), with music and lyrics by Grammy and Tony Award nominee Andrew Lippa (The Wild Party, The Addams Family), a book by Grammy and BAFTA Award nominee John August (Frankenweenie, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), Big Fish begins previews on Broadway Thursday, September 5, 2013.
