DREAMGIRLS will preview on Friday, March 25, 2016 (with a press opening on Saturday, March 26) and run through Sunday, April 17, 2016 at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, 14900 La Mirada Blvd in La Mirada. Additionally, DREAMGIRLS will perform Friday, May 6 through Sunday, May 8 at Valley Performing Arts Center in Northridge.

Producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing announced today that Ben Jacoby, previously seen in the US Tour of Phantom of the Opera, will step into the role of 'Barry Mann' in Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, beginning the week of February 29, 2016. Jacoby will take over for Tony Award nominee Jarrod Spector, whose last performance is scheduled for Sunday, February 28, 2016. Beautiful - The Carole King Musical plays at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43rd Street).

Creator Douglas Lyons (Five Points: An American Musical) is the show's lyricist and co-composed the score alongside Greg Borowsky (Sony ATV). The book is by Melvin Tunstall III.

Additional principal casting for the production's second year on Broadway will be announced in the coming weeks.
