DOCTOR ZHIVAGO, based on Boris Pasternak's Nobel Prize-winning 20th-century epic Russian masterpiece, is directed by two-time Tony Award winner Des McAnuff (Jersey Boys), with a book by Academy Award nominee Michael Weller (Ragtime), music by two-time Grammy Award winner and Tony Award nominee Lucy Simon (The Secret Garden), lyrics by Tony Award nominee Michael Korie(Grey Gardens) and Emmy Award nominee Amy Powers (Ella Enchanted), and choreography by Tony Award nominee Kelly Devine (Rocky). Following the cancellation of last night's preview due to leading man Tam Mutu's illness, performances will officially resume tonight at the Broadway Theatre with Mutu's understudy, Bradley Dean, in the role of Yurii Zhivago.

Broadway World has just learned that tonight's preview performance new Broadway musical Doctor Zhivago has been cancelled. A show representative confirmed: 'Tam Mutu is out of the show due to illness. With less than a week of preview performances to date, there has not been time to prepare the understudy. Performances will resume tomorrow, Friday, April 3rd at 8pm. Tickets for tonight's performance can be exchanged at point of purchase.'

El Rey Network and Miramax announced today that Jeff Fahey (Lost, Justified, Texas Rising) has joined the sophomore season of Robert Rodriguez's 'From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series' in a recurring role. Fahey has been cast in the role of 'Uncle Eddie Cruickshank', the man who raised The Gecko Brothers after their father died in a fire; he runs a TV/appliance repair shop in Houston, Texas - but it's really a cover. Eddie is the guy who designs and sells scores. He doesn't do the jobs anymore, but when Seth and Richie show up, he gets a chance to get back in the game. The second season is currently in production in Austin, TX and set to return late summer, 2015. Jeff Fahey is represented by Jeff Goldberg of Jeff Goldberg Management.
